This site is a few static pages. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics script and loads nothing from third parties.

What this website processes

When you open a page, the web server records a standard access log entry: your IP address, the time, the page requested, the referring page if your browser sends one, and your browser's user-agent string. This is the only record this site keeps apart from the waitlist below, and it is used to keep the server running and to count, in aggregate, which pages were opened and from which source link. Log files are rotated and are not combined with anything else.

Links to this site may carry a source code such as ?src=community_01. It names the place a link was posted, never a person.

The beta fit check on the beta page runs entirely in your browser. Your answers are not sent to the server and are not stored.

What this website does not process

• No cookies, local storage or fingerprinting.
• No analytics, advertising or social-media scripts.
• No forms that collect your name or story; the waitlist takes an email address and the source code of the link you came from, nothing else.

The waitlist

The waitlist on the front page takes your email address and, if the link you arrived from carried one, its source code. It is used to send you one email when the beta opens, and for nothing else: no newsletter, no marketing, and it is not shared with anyone. The lawful basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time through hello@hellosnak.com. The addresses are kept on the same EU server as this site and deleted once that email has been sent.

The beta

Joining the beta is a separate step with its own information. Contact details are collected only if you choose to write to us, only for administering the beta, and never for marketing. Any future marketing would need a separate, unticked opt-in. The app's own privacy notice covers practice data, recordings and deletion, and you receive it before installing the app.

Where the site runs

The site is served from a server in Hetzner, hel1 (EU), operated by Hetzner Online GmbH as hosting provider. No data is transferred outside the European Union.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to processing, and complain to a supervisory authority. For anything about this site, use hello@hellosnak.com.
