Lesson Danish makes sense, but ordinary conversations still disappear?
We are preparing a small Copenhagen beta of Snak for international professionals who already study some Danish but still lose the thread, or freeze when it is their turn, in everyday and workplace situations.
The beta will test short listening-to-response practice alongside the course or app you already use. It is testing practice and usability. It does not promise fluency, an exam result, a job outcome, or pronunciation assessment.
Status: not yet open. Nothing on this page collects your details. Checking the fit sends nothing anywhere.
Check whether the beta fits
Who is running it
Antti Mikkonen, the independent developer of Snak, based in Denmark. No school, employer or agency is involved, and no one is paid to recruit.
What it is
- About ten minutes of practice on at least four days in one week, on your own phone.
- An iPhone app installed through Apple's TestFlight. Android is not part of this beta.
- Free. There is no payment and no compensation.
- Some tasks use the microphone. They are disclosed in the app before they start.
What it is not
- Not a course, and not a replacement for the one you have.
- Not a test. Nothing you do is scored against a level, and nothing is shared with an employer.
- Not automatic. If the beta fits, you decide whether to get in touch through the contact route. The waitlist on the front page only sends one email when the beta opens.
